Sacramento County Workforce Pathways Grant (WPG) Stipend Program


News! The WPG Application Portal will re-open for applications on August 15, 2022.  Apply at https://bit.ly/WPGApp2022.  

Funded by the State of California, the goals of the Sacramento County QCC Workforce Pathways Grant (WPG) are:

  • to increase the number of qualified early learning and care (ELC) professionals
  • to increase the educational credentials, knowledge, and competencies of existing ELC professionals.

Eligible participants who finish approved professional growth activities and submit complete documentation may receive a stipend. Professional growth activities include initial Family Child Care Home (FCCH) licensure and/or training and/or college coursework designed to move up the Career Lattice.
