Early Learning Partnerships Building Mindful Early Care & Learning (PBM)

The PBM program provides support and technical assistance to teachers and administrators in private programs are focused in four areas: site development, instructional support, workforce development, and transition to preschool and kindergarten.

Additional Information

Funded by First 5 Sacramento, PBM is a professional growth program for teachers and administrators working in private centers and family child care homes in Sacramento County.  PBM  Early Childhood Education Specialists partner with staff to identify current strengths and create an individualized quality improvement plan to enhance teaching and children’s interactions. Blending weekly coaching and professional development, ECE Specialists support teachers and administrators apply new knowledge & skills that deepen learning experiences, learning environments, and the use of screening and assessment tools.  PBM Family Advocates provide developmental screenings, referrals, and assist sites in implementing a developmental screening to identify children who may need additional evaluation and provide community resources that support families and children.
